In the winter you will need a rain cover, against rain and wind, and a footmuff to keep your child warm. In the summer a mosquito net to keep insects and flies away from baby, and a parasol. Most stroller brands make their own accessories, and Reer provide universal protection for any stroller.
Adapters will be needed if you are going to clip the car seat onto your wheels, sometimes these are included in the price of the stroller or can be ordered separately.
For older siblings you may find a board useful, these can be clipped onto your stroller and the older child can sit or stand behind baby. If your brand doesn’t make a board, often a universal one can adapt to your chassis.
A changing bag is essential for day trips, with enough space inside to fit all you need to feed and change baby. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Bugaboo, Cybex and Nuna all have their changing bags, either to strap onto the handlebar or in backpack version. You may find an organiser is more practical for shorter trips, these hold enough for a few hours out of the house and can be attatched to your handlebar.
